5. Data About Businesses in Reports
Reports contain publicly available information about businesses, including court records, government filings, online reviews, and other public data. This information is sourced from third-party public databases and does not constitute personal data of the business owners. Vett.us aggregates and presents this public information along with our opinion-based assessment.
6. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.
We also use the following third-party services that may set their own cookies or collect data through scripts embedded on our pages:
- Google Ads (gtag.js) — tracks ad conversions so we can measure whether our advertising is effective. This service may set cookies and transmit page visit data to Google. We do not use Google Ads to build advertising profiles or serve targeted ads on our site.
- Microsoft Clarity — records anonymous session replays, heatmaps, and usage metrics to help us improve the user experience. Clarity may use cookies and collect device, browser, and interaction data. Clarity data is processed by Microsoft and may be used by Microsoft in accordance with their privacy statement.
We do not sell data collected by these services. You can block third-party scripts using browser extensions or privacy settings.
